Suhail Hotel

Suhail Hotel is right in the middle of Troop Bazar, just behind the GPO. If you know the area, you know how packed it gets with shoppers and vendors. Our address is 4-1-527, and we have been here for a long time. It is a small hotel, mostly for people who need a place to stay while they are doing business in the market. We do not have a lobby with marble floors or anything like that. It is just a basic building with rooms and a kitchen that stays busy. The sounds of the bazaar are always there, so it is never really quiet until very late at night. We get a lot of regulars who come back every time they have to visit the city. We do our best to keep the rooms clean and the tea ready. Most of the work is done by a few of us who have worked here for years. We know the shortcuts around the GPO and where to get things fixed when something breaks. It is a bit of an old-fashioned way of running a business, but it works for us. We do not use much technology here, just a ledger and some keys. People come here because it is cheap and right where the action is. It is a bit dusty and loud outside, but inside we just try to keep things steady. It is just a regular hotel for regular folks passing through.
