This is Sudhiksha Tailors and Fashion Designers. You can find us at Plot No. 452, Shop No. 1 in Anjaneya Nagar. We are right here in the Moosapet area. I started this shop because I’ve always been good with a needle and thread. It’s a small shop, and usually, you can hear the sound of sewing machines from the street. We have piles of fabric sitting on the shelves and scraps of cloth on the floor. It’s a busy little place. I spend most of my day measuring people and cutting fabric. My hands get tired sometimes, but I like seeing a finished dress or shirt. We do all kinds of stitching for the folks in this neighborhood. I don't have any fancy catalogs. People usually just bring a picture or tell me what they want. Sometimes I have to tell them a certain style won't work with the fabric they brought. I try to be honest about that. It’s just me and a couple of other tailors working in the back. It gets hot under the lights, so we keep the fan on full blast. We are not a big fashion house or anything. We just make clothes that fit well. Moosapet is a lively place to have a shop. There’s always someone walking by or stopping in to ask about a repair. We stay busy from morning till night.
