St Peters High School

The school is situated at Survey No 2 in Sitarampur, which is right near Malla Reddy Gardens in the Bowenpally area. It is a place that feels a bit more open than the middle of the city. You can hear the kids playing during their lunch breaks from quite a distance away. We have been here for a good while, and the neighborhood has grown up around us. The school building is simple, with corridors that lead to various classrooms for the different grades. We have a lot of charts and student work pinned up on the walls, which gives the place a bit of color even if the building itself is just plain concrete. The mornings are always a bit of a scramble with buses and parents dropping off their children near the gate. Once the bell rings, it goes quiet for a while until the first break. We have some trees around the grounds that provide a bit of shade when the sun is out. The office staff are usually busy answering the phone or talking to parents who drop by with questions. It is a very normal school environment without any of the high-tech gadgets you might see in newer places. We just focus on the textbooks and the daily lessons. Sitarampur is a quiet enough spot for a school, and being near the gardens makes it easy for people to give directions to us.
