St Antony'S High School

St Antony'S High School is situated on Jagadgiri Gutta Road. The exact address is 4-41-531/A, right in the heart of Papi Reddy Nagar. It’s a lively neighborhood with a lot of shops and houses packed close together. Our building stands out a bit because it’s several stories tall. We use the ground floor for the younger kids and the upper floors for the older ones. The stairs are quite narrow, so we have to make sure everyone moves carefully during the breaks. We don't have a massive yard, but there is enough space out front for the morning assembly. It gets quite hot on the road during the midday sun. Most of our students walk to school from the surrounding streets in Papi Reddy Nagar. We have a small staff room where we keep all the registers and books. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in there at once. The bells for the classes are loud so everyone can hear them over the street noise. We’ve been here for a good number of years and have seen the neighborhood grow and change around us. The building has some cracks here and there, but it’s sturdy. We spend a lot of time organizing the daily schedule and making sure the supplies are stocked up. It’s a very hands-on environment. There isn't any corporate management, just us teachers and the administrative staff trying to keep things orderly. We close the gates tight every evening.
