St Andrews High School

St Andrews High School is situated inside the Ywca Building at 222/B in West Marredpally, right by the Ganesh Temple. It is a landmark in this part of the city. The building itself is quite old and has a lot of character, with high ceilings that help keep things cool during the summer months. We have been using this space for our school for a long time. The classrooms are filled with old-fashioned desks and the walls are covered with student work. It is a very lively place during the day, with kids running up and down the stairs. When there are festivals at the temple nearby, it can get quite loud, but we just work around it. The staff is like a small family. Most of us have been working here for years and we know the families of the children who attend. We don't have a big shiny campus or a swimming pool. We just have a solid building where we teach the kids. The office is usually a bit cluttered with books and supplies. We spend our time planning lessons and making sure the school day goes as smoothly as it can. It is a simple, straightforward way of doing things. We are just a part of the West Marredpally community and we like it that way. The Ganesh Temple next door is a big part of the local life, and we feel connected to that.
