We are based in Flat No. 203 in Green Hills Colony, which is over in the Saroor Nagar area of Hyderabad. It’s a nice enough neighborhood, mostly houses and other small apartment buildings. Our office is basically a converted apartment, so it has a kitchen and a bathroom like any other home. We’ve turned the main living area into our workspace with several desks pushed together. It’s a bit crowded when everyone shows up at the same time, but we make it work. There’s a small balcony where we keep some boxes and where a couple of the guys go to take phone calls. The light in the afternoon is actually quite good, though it makes the screens hard to see if we don't pull the curtains. We’ve been here for a bit now and we’ve gotten to know the security guard and some of the people living on the other floors. It’s a quiet building for the most part. We don’t have any big corporate signs out front, just the name on the door. Our daily routine is pretty simple. We show up, make some tea, and get through whatever is on the schedule. Sometimes we order food from the local places around Saroor Nagar when we’re working late. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s our daily reality. We focus on the work at hand and try not to get too distracted by the noise from the street.
