You can find A B Agencies right on Bankstreet in Koti. Our building is 4-3-310 and it’s right in the middle of all the Koti madness. If you’ve been to Koti, you know how many people are always walking around and how the shops are all piled on top of each other. We are basically a distribution agency, so our space is usually full of boxes and crates waiting to be sent out to retailers. It’s an old building, so the walls are thick and it stays relatively cool even when it’s boiling outside. We have a lot of walk-in customers who are looking for specific items, and we spend a good chunk of our day just digging through the stock to find what they need. The noise from the street is always there in the background, with all the honking and the shouting from the market. We have been at this Hyd-95 location for a long time, so we know most of the other shop owners around here. It’s a very traditional way of doing business—lots of ledgers, pens, and paper receipts. We don’t use much high-tech stuff because the old ways still work fine for us. It’s a bit cramped, and we are always moving things around to make space, but we wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. Lunch is usually just something quick from the stall across the street while we keep the shop open.
