We’ve been over here at Vijaya Hills in Ac Guards for a while now. The office is in Wing A, specifically G/2, which makes it easy enough to find if you know the area. It gets pretty loud sometimes because of the printing machines running all day. Paper is everywhere and there’s always a faint smell of ink in the air, but we’re used to it. Most days start with checking the jobs lined up and making sure the colors look right on whatever we are making. People stop by to pick up their flyers or signs, and we just keep moving from one thing to the next. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular workspace with desks and printers squeezed in. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine gets jammed, which slows us down, but we just fix it and get back to work. There are a few of us here doing the layout work and managing the actual printing process. We spend a lot of time staring at screens and then looking at physical prints to see if they match up. The neighborhood is usually busy, so there’s always something happening outside. It’s a practical setup for what we do. We don’t have a lot of decorative stuff on the walls because we need the space for supplies. It works for us and keeps us busy from morning until we close up late in the evening. We have some old shelves full of sample books that people like to flip through while they wait.
