Southpaw Creations

Southpaw Creations is actually located inside an apartment building. We are at No. 6-1-281, specifically in Flat No. 206 of the Gharonda Perumal Apartments. This is in Padmarao Nagar. It’s a bit different running a business from an apartment, but it works for us. It’s much quieter than being right on a main commercial road. We have our workspace set up in one of the rooms. Most of the time, it’s just the sound of us working and the usual sounds of the apartment complex, like neighbors talking in the hallway or a car pulling into the parking lot downstairs. Padmarao Nagar is a nice, residential area with a lot of trees. We’ve been here for a while now. People usually call us before coming over because finding a specific flat in a big building like Gharonda Perumal can be a bit tricky if you aren’t used to it. We don’t have a big storefront with windows. It’s just a regular door with our name on it. We spend our days designing and putting things together on our work tables. Sometimes we go down to the local market to grab supplies or some lunch. It’s a very grounded way to work. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us making things happen. It feels more like a home than an office most of the time. We like the pace here. It allows us to focus without too many distractions.
