Art9 Studio

The studio is tucked away right next to Nirmalnivas Apartments here in Srinagar Colony. Most days we are just covered in paint or dust depending on what projects are going on at the moment. It is a bit cramped in here with all the canvases and supplies stacked up, but it works for us. We spend a lot of time just figuring things out as we go. You can find us at No. 8-3-977/8/5. Sometimes the noise from the street gets a bit much but usually it is just us working away. We started this because we wanted a place to create things without too much fuss. It isn't a fancy gallery or anything like that. Just a work space where stuff gets made. People sometimes drop by and we show them what is on the easels. If you are looking for us, look for the apartments nearby and you will see the sign. We have been in Yellareddyguda for a while now. The coffee machine is usually running and there is always some project half-finished on the table. It is not always organized but we know where everything is. We just focus on the art and keeping the lights on. It’s a simple setup but it gets the job done. Sometimes we stay late when a piece is going well. It’s just how it is here. We like the quiet hours best when the sun starts to go down.
