Vara Designs

At Vara Designs, we work out of a space in Deendayal Nagar in the Balapur area. It’s a part of town that has been growing quite a bit lately. Our setup is fairly basic because we spend most of our time on the actual design work rather than worrying about what the office looks like. We have our tables, our computers, and plenty of sketches lying around. Balapur is a bit of a drive for some, but we like the pace of things here. It’s not as frantic as the middle of the city. We are just a small group of people who enjoy what we do. Usually, the day starts with a lot of tea and a look at the projects we have on the go. We don't have a receptionist or a big waiting room. If someone comes by, one of us just gets up from our desk to talk to them. It’s very informal. We have piles of samples and color charts scattered about because that's the nature of the work. Sometimes it looks a bit messy, but we know where everything is. We just focus on the drawings and the plans. We aren't trying to be a big corporate firm with fancy logos everywhere. We just want to get the designs right for whoever is asking. It’s a simple way to run things, and it works for us and the people who visit.
