Shanti Fashions

Shanti Fashions is tucked away in Flat No : 323 of the Jeva Apartments. We are in Sainathpuram, which is part of the AS Rao Nagar ECIL area. It’s a residential spot, so we aren't on a main high street with a big glass window. Being in an apartment means it’s a bit more private and quiet for us. People usually come to see us because they know the address or they live nearby in the building. It’s a bit of a different way to run a fashion business, but it works for us. We have our work area set up in the flat and we spend most of our time there. It’s a lot of cutting and sewing and checking the fit of things. Sainathpuram is a nice neighborhood and we’ve gotten to know the people around here over the years. We don't do much in terms of advertising. Most of our customers are folks from AS Rao Nagar or friends of people who have been here before. We keep it simple. There’s no corporate ladder here, just us doing the work. Sometimes the flat gets a bit crowded with boxes and fabric rolls, but that’s just how it is when you’re busy. We just keep going, day by day, making sure things are done right for whoever is waiting on their order. It’s a small, home-based operation and we like it that way because it feels more personal.
