Our place is Shaik Chand Medical And General Store, and you can find us at 9-1-29/13 on Langrahouse Main Road. Hyderabad is a big, busy city, and Langer House is a real hub of activity all through the week. Having a shop that does both medicine and general items means we see a lot of different needs throughout the day. One person might be looking for a specific tablet while the next one just wants a bottle of water or some biscuits for their kids. It keeps us on our toes. The main road is always loud with horns and buses going by, so there is constant noise. We stay inside most of the day, surrounded by shelves of boxes and small bottles. It’s a lot to keep track of, making sure all the medical stuff is current and the general goods are what people want to buy. We don't have any fancy displays or a big staff. It's just a practical shop for people who live around here or are passing through on the main road. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the small space, especially in the evenings when everyone is coming home. We do our best to help everyone quickly so they can get back to their day. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We’ve been here for a while and we know the rhythm of the street quite well. It’s just a normal day for us.
