Acu Walking

We are over at Unity House, tucked into the Emrald Hotel Lane in Abids. It is one of those spots that is easy to miss if you are rushing by. The lane is narrow and there are always scooters parked everywhere. We’ve been running Acu Walking out of this office for a while. The building, Unity House, has seen better days but it is solid. We like the location because Abids has everything you need within walking distance. Our room is on one of the middle floors. We don't have fancy carpets or designer lights. It's just some desks and our stuff. The window looks out onto the back of another building so there isn't much of a view, but it lets in some light. We usually have the radio playing quiet songs in the background while we work. People come in and out all day. Sometimes the elevator doesn't work so we have to take the stairs, which keeps us moving. It's a small team here and we all know each other's habits. We don't do much in the way of decoration. We just focus on the orders and making sure things get sent out to the right places. It's a simple way to spend the day and we like the routine of it all. We eat lunch at our desks mostly or go down to the corner for a quick bite. The walls are a bit thin so we can hear the neighbors sometimes, but it doesn't bother us. We’ve got a couple of old plants on the windowsill that we try to keep alive despite the lack of direct sun.
