Secretary To Director Of Food And Beverage

Working out of Kukatpally, specifically Ligh - 148 in the 7th Phase of KPHB, is quite a daily grind. This office handles all the coordination for the food and beverage side of things. It is mostly about keeping track of supplies and making sure the schedules for the kitchens are sorted. It is not a restaurant itself, but we are the ones behind the scenes doing the paperwork. The 7th Phase is a crowded area with a lot of traffic, so getting here in the morning takes some patience. We have a small desk setup and a lot of files to go through. Sometimes the phone does not stop ringing because someone forgot to order onions or the delivery truck is stuck somewhere in Hyderabad. It is not glamorous work, but it has to be done if people want to eat. We drink a lot of tea to stay awake during the long afternoons. The walk from the bus stop to the office is usually hot, and by the time I get to the desk, I am ready for a glass of cold water. We have a small fan that rattles all day, but it helps a bit. The Director is usually out checking on the different outlets, so the office stays a bit quiet until he returns with a list of new things to fix. We have been in this location for a while now and we know the local vendors pretty well. It is just a lot of lists and phone calls.
