Manha Bottling Company

Down here at Canara Nagar, Manha Bottling Company is always on the go. The machines make a lot of noise throughout the day, so you can usually hear us before you even see the gate. We spend most of our time making sure the bottles are filled right and the caps are on tight. It’s a bit of a cramped space with all the crates stacked up, but we’ve managed to organize it over the years. Some days we are loading trucks from early morning until the sun goes down. It gets pretty hot in the warehouse, especially during the summer months when everyone wants more drinks. We don't have a big office or anything, just a small corner where we handle the invoices and keep the books. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend half the day fixing it, which throws everything off, but that’s just part of the job. Most of the people working here live close by, so it feels like a small neighborhood crew. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, we just want to get our orders out to the local shops on time. There’s always a lot of clinking glass and heavy lifting involved in what we do. It’s physical work and your hands get tired, but seeing the trucks leave full makes it worth it. We just stay focused on the daily grind and keeping the line moving.
