Roots Mcntessori School

You can find us on Road No 6 in Banjara Hills. It’s a nice part of town, though the hills can make the walk a bit tiring if you aren’t used to it. The school is set up in a way that feels more like a house than a big institution. We have different rooms for different age groups. It’s a Montessori, so things look a bit different here. There are lots of wooden toys and materials spread out on low shelves. We spend our days watching the kids figure things out for themselves. It’s not about sitting in rows and listening to a lecture. The atmosphere is usually a mix of focused silence and sudden bursts of laughter. We don't have a giant gate or a big neon sign. It’s just a gate on Road No 6. The staff here are mostly local people who enjoy working with young children. We spend a lot of time cleaning up after activities and making sure everything is in its place for the next day. It’s a lot of physical work, honestly. Moving little chairs, wiping down tables, and organizing the beads and blocks. We don’t pretend to be some high-tech center. We just value the simple way of learning. Parents drop their kids off and we take it from there. It’s a steady, calm rhythm most days, though rainy days can make things a bit messy with muddy shoes and wet coats. We just keep going.
