Rising Sun High School

Rising Sun High School is located right at the Bandlaguda X Roads. If you know Hyderabad, you know how busy that intersection can get. We are right in the thick of it near Bandlaguda-Chandrayan Gutta, so there is never a dull moment. The sound of the traffic is just the background music to our school day. The building is a few stories high and we have squeezed a lot into the space we have. Our address is 500005 and we have been serving the local families here for quite some time. The kids come from the narrow lanes nearby and fill up the classrooms pretty quickly. We have a small staff room where the teachers drink their tea and talk about the day's plans. It is a bit of a tight fit sometimes, especially when parents come in for meetings, but we make it work. The walls are covered with student drawings and old notices that have been there for months. We do not have a big sports field, so the students mostly play in the small courtyard or just hang out in the corridors during their breaks. It is a real city school, a bit noisy and a bit cramped, but full of life. We just try to keep the students focused on their books and make sure everyone follows the rules. It is an honest, everyday kind of place for the neighborhood.
