Our business is set up at Plot No. 61 in Brindavan Estates, which is in the Hydernagar area of Kukatpally. We handle marine exports. Being inland in Hyderabad means we spend a lot of time on the phone with people at the coast. We deal with the logistics of moving seafood. It’s a lot of paperwork and making sure the timing is right. If a shipment is late, it’s a big problem. Our office is fairly simple. We have a few desks and some maps on the wall. It’s not a place where you’ll find fish, though. That’s all handled at the ports and cold storage units elsewhere. We just manage the deals and the shipping details from here. Brindavan Estates is a decent place to work from. It’s away from the main road noise. Sometimes the internet goes out and we have to use our phones to track shipments. It’s a stressful job occasionally, especially when customs has questions. We started this because we had connections in the fishing industry. It’s a tough business with small margins. We don’t have any corporate slogans. We just try to get the containers moved without any issues. Most of our clients are overseas. We spend our days checking exchange rates and shipping schedules. It’s a plain, honest way to make a living. We keep working until the last container for the day is confirmed and the tracking says it's on its way.
