Renu Fashion Designer

If you go down to Raghunath Nagar in Amberpet, you can find us at House No 2-3-510/26. That is where Renu Fashion Designer is based. We are tucked away in the neighborhood, so it is a bit quieter than the main road shops. I started this place because I enjoy the process of making clothes from scratch. It is just me and a couple of helpers most of the time. We handle a lot of different types of garments. People bring in their suit pieces or blouse bits, and we get to work on the measurements. The shop is filled with scraps of cloth and different colored zippers. It is not the most organized looking place, but we have a system that works for us. Living and working in Hyderabad means we see a lot of different styles. We just stick to what we know. Some days are slow, and we just sit and finish up the pending orders. Other times, like during festival seasons, we are working late into the night just to get things done. We don't have a big corporate setup. It is just a small room where we do our sewing. Most of our customers are from the streets nearby. They know where we are and just drop in when they have something to get stitched. It is a simple life and a simple business for us. We just keep the machines running and help our neighbors with their clothes.
