Working at Rao & Sridhar in Narayanguda means being part of the daily rush of Kubera Towers. Our units, 310 and 311, are always full of paperwork. There isn’t a single day where we don’t have a new stack of documents to go through. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place with desks, computers, and a lot of storage for files. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working through spreadsheets. The heat in Hyderabad can be tough, so the fans are always going full speed. We don’t have a big mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just focus on the task at hand, whether it’s an audit or a tax return. Most of the people who come to see us are local business owners. They walk in, often looking a bit worried about their taxes, and we do our best to sort through their receipts and bills. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but it’s important to get the numbers right. We usually take a break in the afternoon for a quick snack. The building can get quite noisy with all the people coming and going, but we’re used to it. It’s just a normal office where we handle the books and try to stay organized. There’s always another deadline around the corner, so there’s never a dull moment.
