At Ramky Enviro Engineers, we operate from our Somajiguda location in Hyderabad. Being in such a central part of the city means there is never a quiet moment. You can hear the traffic from the main road all day long. We are a team that focuses on engineering solutions for the environment, but that sounds more complicated than it feels when we are actually working. Mostly, it is about solving problems with trash or drainage and making sure things are handled correctly. Our office is a functional space. It is not decorated with fancy art or anything like that. We just have the usual desks, computers, and a lot of filing cabinets. The staff here has been together for a long time, so we have a bit of a routine. We know who likes their tea with extra sugar and who is always late because of the Panjagutta traffic. It is a straightforward place to work. We spend a lot of time on site visits, coming back with dusty shoes and a lot of notes to type up. It is not a glamorous life, but it is necessary work for a city as big as Hyderabad. We don't go in for big speeches or polished marketing. We just focus on the job at hand and try to make sense of the environmental challenges that come across our desks every day.
