Rainbow High School

Rainbow High School is tucked away behind the IDPL Colony in Papaiah Nagar. If you know the area, you know it’s a bit of a maze getting back here sometimes. We are at number 48-62. It is a quiet pocket compared to the main roads nearby, which is nice for the classes. In the mornings, you can hear the sounds of the neighborhood waking up while the students start filing in. We’ve got a mix of older kids and younger ones all sharing the space. The building isn't brand new, it has some character from over the years, and we do our best to look after it. Parents often stop to chat at the gate when they drop their kids off. It’s that kind of place where everyone sort of knows who belongs to which family. Inside, it’s mostly just the sound of teachers talking and the occasional chair scraping on the floor. We have enough space for the kids to breathe, though it gets a bit crowded during the lunch hour when everyone wants to be outside at once. The weather really dictates the mood here. On rainy days, the porch gets packed with umbrellas. We don’t go for anything too flashy. It is just a regular school doing regular things for the families living around Papaiah Nagar. Most of our staff live nearby too, so we are all part of the same community.
