Rainbow High School

You can find us at Rainbow High School over in the Chandu Lal Baradari area of Bahadurpura. The address is a bit of a mouthful, Building No 19-2-369/61/A, but most people around here know where we are. We are right in the middle of a busy part of Hyderabad. The school day starts early, and you can hear the kids long before they actually get through the doors. It’s a typical city school. Space is a bit tight, but we make it work with the classrooms we have. The walls are painted, though they get scuffed up pretty fast with all the students running around. We have all the regular grades here. The teachers stay busy with lesson plans and checking notebooks, while the kids are usually more interested in lunch break or when they get to go home. It’s a lot of work running a school in this part of town. There is always something that needs fixing, like a leaky tap or a light that won't turn on. We don't have a massive campus with fields, but we use the space we have as best as we can. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so we keep the windows open and the fans going. It’s just a normal place for local kids to get their education. We’ve seen many groups of students come and go over the years. We just keep the routine going every day.
