R M Trivedi & Sons has been around for a long time at 7-2-637 on R P Road. This business was started by our father and we have just kept it running in the same way he did. We are right in the middle of all the noise and bustle of the main road. It is a very busy area, and there is always someone coming in or out. We do not have a fancy website or any of that modern stuff. We just sit at the old wooden counter and wait for our regular customers to show up. Most of the people who buy from us have been coming here for twenty or thirty years. We sell various goods that people need for their shops and homes. The shelves are packed high with boxes, and sometimes it takes a ladder to reach what someone wants. We do not have many employees, just a few guys who have been with the family since they were young. It is a very simple way of doing business. We open the shutters early in the morning and we do not close until late in the evening. R P Road is always moving, so we stay busy enough without needing to do any marketing. It is a bit old-fashioned here, with paper ledgers and hand-written receipts, but that is how we like to keep things. It feels more honest that way to us.
