Coir Board Showroom & Sales Depot Chapel Rd

Our showroom is at 5-8-328/1 on Chapel Road in Abids. It’s a well-known street, so we see a lot of people walking past every day. We have a lot of coir mats, rugs, and other fiber products stacked up everywhere. The smell of the coconut fiber is pretty strong when you first walk in, but we don't even notice it anymore. It’s a big space, but it’s filled with heavy stuff, so moving things around takes some effort. We spend our mornings cleaning the displays and making sure the prices are visible. Abids is a historic area, and you can feel that in the old buildings around us. The showroom has high ceilings and big windows, which lets in some light, but it can get dusty quite fast. We aren't here to push sales on people; we just show them what’s available and help them if they have questions. It’s a steady kind of job. Sometimes we get school groups or people looking for something specific for their homes. We keep a ledger of everything that goes out, which takes up a fair bit of time. The fans overhead hum all day long. It’s just a regular shop doing its thing in a busy part of town. We’re usually here until the shops nearby start closing up for the night. It's a bit of a walk to the main transport hubs, but we don't mind the exercise.
