Radiant Engineering

The workshop is over at F 23/B in Ida Jeedimetla. It’s a busy part of the village, especially with all the trucks coming in and out of Quthbullapur Mandal all day. We’ve been here a good while now. It’s not a fancy place, just a lot of metal, some old machines, and the smell of grease. Engineering is just what we do. It’s loud most of the time because of the lathe machines and the cutting. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who know how to handle the work. Sometimes my cousin stops by to help with the heavy stuff. The floor is always covered in metal shavings no matter how much we sweep. It’s just the nature of the job. We don’t have an office with air conditioning. We just use the big floor fans and keep the doors open. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit outside and have some tea until it comes back on. People around here know us. We don’t do any advertising or anything like that. If someone needs a part fixed or something welded, they just walk in. We don’t have a website either. It’s just honest work. We try to get things done when we say we will, but sometimes things take longer if a machine breaks down. That’s just how it is. We go home tired but it's okay.
