Promed Instruments Pvt Ltd is located at 1/6, Barathiyar Street in Chennai. We have been here for a while and the humidity in Tamil Nadu is something we just have to live with every day. Our building is a simple one and we handle a lot of medical instruments and tools. There are boxes stacked in the corners and the shelves are full of various pieces of equipment. We spend our time checking things and making sure they work like they are supposed to. It is quiet work but it requires a lot of focus. Chennai is a busy place and our street can get very crowded during the morning hours. We do not have a fancy showroom for people to walk through. Usually, if someone comes by, they just stand near the entrance while we find what they need from the back. The floor is made of old tiles and some of them are a bit cracked. We have a small fan that wobbles when it is on high speed but it keeps the air moving. We are just a few people who have a lot of experience with these instruments. Most of our days are spent filling out forms and packing things into crates for shipping. It is not very exciting but it is what we do. We like the neighborhood and the people who stop by to chat.
