Pratishta Dresses

Pratishta Dresses is located at House No 3-10-645 in Gokhle Nagar, Ramanthapur. This part of Hyderabad, 500013, feels very much like a neighborhood where everyone knows each other. Our shop is part of a house, so it has a very home-like feeling. We have dresses on display, but it’s not like those big showrooms in the city. Things are a bit more relaxed here. We open the shutters in the morning and wait for the locals to stop by. Sometimes people just come in to chat for a bit. We have racks with different styles, and we try to keep them as neat as possible, though it’s hard when children are running around. The street outside isn't too wide, so you don't get the huge trucks or buses passing by. It’s mostly bikes and people walking. We use a simple ceiling fan to keep the air moving during the hot afternoons. We write our receipts by hand and keep the money in a small metal box. It’s a basic setup, but it’s enough for what we need. We’ve been in Gokhle Nagar for some time and have seen the area change over the years. We stay busy with the small tasks of mending, sorting, and talking to the people who live nearby. It’s a steady life and we are happy with the way things are for us. The days go by fast when you are working with friends.
