Our workplace is a bit unique because we are situated right within the Air Force Academy area in Hyderabad. Specifically, we’re at Type-I, 46/5. Being on the academy grounds means it’s a very orderly and quiet environment, which is actually pretty great for the kind of work we do at Pragati Microinstruments. You don't get the usual city noise or the constant honking here. We’ve been in this 500043 zip code area for quite some time now. The building is functional and strictly for work purposes. We have our equipment set up in a way that makes sense for the space we have available. It’s not a large office, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need into the rooms we use. Most of us have been working together for a while, so we have a good routine down. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or anything like that. The walls are mostly bare except for a few calendars and notes we’ve pinned up to keep track of things. Lunch breaks usually mean sitting together and chatting about whatever is on the news or just relaxing for a bit. Security is a bit tight getting in and out because of the location, but we’ve all gotten used to the checkpoints. It’s just part of the daily commute for us. We find that the disciplined atmosphere of the surroundings helps us stay focused on the tasks at hand. It’s a solid place to work, and we’re happy with the setup we’ve built.
