We have a small team here. Our desks are covered in folders and student applications. It is the kind of place where things are always a bit busy, especially around enrollment time. We don't have any flashy decorations on the walls. It is just a functional workspace with a few computers and a printer that occasionally decides not to work. We spend a lot of time on the phone or responding to emails. Sometimes we have parents or students drop by with questions, and we just sit them down and talk through what they need. It is a very straightforward setup. We don't try to sound overly formal. We are just the staff members who make sure the paperwork stays in order for the college.
