Plantec Engineers

Plantec Engineers operates out of Flat No. 108 in the Ushodaya Towers. That building is over in Shapur Nagar, specifically in the IDA Jeedimetla industrial area. Since we are located right in an industrial zone, there is always a huge amount of activity going on around us. You can hear the hum of the factories and the sound of heavy trucks moving through the streets almost all the time. Our office is tucked inside the tower, so it stays a little bit quieter than if we were right on the main street level. It’s basically just a standard flat that we converted into a working space for the team. We have a couple of computers and some big drafting tables set up in the main room. It can get a bit cramped when everyone is in the office at the same time, but we make it work. The elevator in the building is often a bit slow or busy, so we usually just end up taking the stairs. Being in Jeedimetla is good for us because many of the people we work with are also located in this same industrial zone. We spend most of our day on the phone or looking over technical prints. We don't have any receptionists or a fancy waiting room for visitors. If someone comes by, they just walk right in and we talk at whichever desk happens to be free at the moment. It is an informal environment. The walls are mostly bare except for some local maps.
