We are based at Plot No. 17/8, Phase-v, in the Ida area of Cherlapally, Hyderabad. It is quite a distance from the center of the city, but this is the right place for the kind of engineering we do. Our workshop is not much to look at from the street, just a regular industrial shed with plenty of machines inside. We have been here in Cherlapally for a long time and have seen the area change. The weather in Hyderabad gets very dry, and it can be quite a challenge to stay cool inside the shop during the summer months. We just keep the big fans going and stay busy with our work. Most of us have been working together for a long time, so we know each other's habits and strengths. We do not spend time on marketing or trying to look like a massive corporation. We just take the drawings we are given and start the cutting or welding. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a project, but we usually try to keep to our regular hours. There is a small tea stall just down the road where we go for our breaks. It is a good spot to relax for a few minutes before heading back to the noise. Being in Phase-v means the roads get very crowded when the shifts change. It can be a bit of a mess outside, but inside our gate, we just focus on getting the engineering tasks done.
