Sri Sangeetha Engineering Works

Our shop, Sri Sangeetha Engineering Works, is located in 186/A Shed at Survey No 270 in Thokatta Village. It’s more of an industrial area, so it’s not the kind of place you’d go for a stroll. There is a lot of noise from machines and the smell of oil and metal is everywhere. We spend our days working on different engineering projects, mostly fixing things or making parts that people need. The shed can get really hot during the day, especially when the machines have been running for hours. We don't have a fancy front office with air conditioning. Usually, if you want to talk to us, you’ll find us right by the lathe or the welding station. It’s dirty work and we go home with grease under our fingernails every single day. We’ve been in this village for a good while, and most of the local businesses know to come to us when something breaks down. We don't have a website or a marketing person. Word of mouth is how we’ve stayed busy all these years. It’s just about getting the job done so the customer can get back to their own work. We don't make things more complicated than they need to be. It’s just us, our tools, and the work that needs doing. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait, but that’s just how things are around here. We do the best we can with what we have.
