Sri Satavahana Laminates

Sri Satavahana Laminates is tucked away at 44 A in Jeedimetla, specifically in the Phase IV Extension area. If you know the industrial zone here, you know it can be a bit dusty and the roads are often filled with lorries. Our warehouse is where we keep all the laminate sheets stacked up high. They come in all sorts of colors and patterns, and we spend a lot of our day moving them around to find exactly what someone asked for. It is heavy work and you have to be careful not to chip the edges of the sheets. We have a small office tucked into one corner of the building where we keep the fan running and have a couple of chairs for when visitors stop by. Most of our days are spent checking the stock and talking to the drivers who come to load up their trucks. The extension area is a bit newer than the older parts of Jeedimetla, so the buildings look a little different. We have a small crew of workers who handle the loading and unloading. We don’t really have any fancy displays or a showroom. If someone wants to see a sample, we just pull it out from the stack for them to look at. It’s a straightforward business and we just focus on getting the right sheets out to the shops and carpenters who need them. Sometimes the phone rings all day, and other times it’s quiet enough to hear the birds outside.
