Our office is in Flat No. 303 of Padmavathi Villa, over in A.S. Raju Nagar. It’s an older building in Kukatpally, and it feels more like a home than a corporate office, which suits us just fine. There’s a balcony that gets some sun in the morning, though mostly it’s just where we keep some spare chairs and a few dying plants that someone forgot to water. We’ve been set up here in Hyderabad for a while now. The elevator in the building can be a bit slow, so most of us just take the stairs if we’re only going up a few floors. Inside, it’s mostly just desks and some whiteboards that are covered in old notes we probably should have erased months ago. We do a lot of our work on laptops, moving around from the main table to the smaller corner spots when we need to focus. It gets pretty loud when everyone is talking at once, but that’s just how the day goes. Sometimes the neighbors in the other flats come by to say hello or ask about a package. It’s a friendly enough spot. We don’t have a big sign outside or anything like that, so you have to know which door to knock on. Life here is mostly about meeting deadlines and trying to find the best lunch spot within walking distance. It’s not a glamorous setup, but it’s where we do our thing every day.
