Navya Fashion Designers

Our shop, Navya Fashion Designers, is located at #16-11-1/1d on the Malakpet Main Road. It is right there in Saleem Nagar Colony, which is a very lively part of the city. Being on the main road means there is a lot of dust and noise, but it also means we see everyone passing by. We spend a lot of our time sitting at the machines or measuring out fabric on the big wooden table. Malakpet is a place where everyone is always in a hurry, but we try to take our time with the work we do. The 500036 area has a lot of history, and our little shop is just one small part of it. We have bags of scraps and rolls of material sitting in the corners because we never know when we might need a specific color. It is a working space more than a fancy boutique. The walls have some old posters and the floor is a bit worn down from people coming in and out all day. We don't use any fancy systems, just a notebook and a pen to keep track of things. The traffic never really stops, but we just keep our heads down and focus on the sewing. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until we close the shutters at night. Saleem Nagar Colony feels like a community, and we are glad to be right in the heart of it.
