We are based in the Ramkote area, inside a building called Alankar Chamber. Specifically, we are in Geeta Bhavan. Ramkote is one of those older parts of the city where the streets are narrow and everything feels a bit crowded. Our office is tucked away in the chamber, and it’s a bit of a climb to get up here. At Narayana Overseas, we don't have much space for showing off. The rooms are mostly filled with files, computers, and samples of what we deal with for the overseas trade. It gets quite loud outside with the traffic and the local shops, but once you’re inside Geeta Bhavan, it’s mostly just the sound of keyboards clicking and people talking on their phones. The walls are painted a simple cream color, and they’ve seen better days, honestly. We spend hours looking over shipping documents and making sure the orders are correct. It’s mostly office work, but it’s the kind that keeps you on your toes because there’s always a deadline. Sometimes we have tea delivered from the shop downstairs when things get too busy to leave the desk. The air conditioning works most of the time, which is a relief during the summer months. It’s a small, tight-knit group of us working here. We just try to stay organized and keep the business moving without making too much of a fuss about things. It’s a steady kind of life in a busy neighborhood.
