Confluence Overseas Education

Flat no 411 in the Ameerestate building is where we set up Confluence Overseas Education. Ameerpet is a busy part of Hyderabad, and there are students everywhere you look. Our office is a bit small, but we have enough chairs for the kids and their parents to sit down and talk. We spend our time looking at maps and university catalogs from countries most of us haven't visited ourselves. It’s a lot of sorting through forms and trying to figure out which visa goes with which school. We have some posters on the walls that are a bit faded, and the printer usually jams when we are in a rush. It’s not a corporate headquarters; it’s just a place where we try to help students find a path. Sometimes the hallway outside is noisy because of the other offices, but we just close the door. We drink a lot of chai during the day while we explain the same things over and over again to different families. Each student has a different story, and we listen as best as we can. We don't promise anything we can't do. We just sit at our desks, answer the phones, and keep track of all the deadlines. It's a busy life in Ameerpet, but we've gotten used to the hustle. There is always someone coming in with a question about a college somewhere far away.
