N&N Engineering Associates

Our engineering office is in New Malakpet, Hyderabad. The address is H-No: 16-3-935/1/1, which is a bit of a mouthful, but we've been here long enough that we don't think about it much. It’s a small, local setup where we do technical drawings and project planning. We don't have a fancy glass-fronted building. We work out of a house that we’ve converted into an office space. It’s full of drafting tables, computers, and stacks of blueprints. There are usually three or four of us here at any given time. We spend a lot of our day looking at maps and checking technical specs for various projects. Hyderabad is a busy city, but our little street in New Malakpet is relatively calm. We don't do any advertising; our work usually comes from referrals or people we’ve known for years. There is always a lot of tea being made in the small pantry, and we usually eat lunch together at the main table. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere, though we take the engineering part of the job very seriously. Sometimes we have to go out to construction sites to see how things are going, but we always come back here to do the final reports. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a long time and we like the way we have things set up here.
