Nalla Malla Reddy Foundation School

Our school is located at 4-55 in Divya Nagar, right in the Uppal area of Hyderabad. We’ve been here for quite some time now, and most of the people who live nearby know our gate. It’s not a huge, sprawling campus, but it’s a solid building that does the job. We have classrooms that get plenty of light during the day, which is nice for the students. We keep things pretty simple here. The teachers come in every morning, and the kids arrive shortly after, mostly on foot or by local rickshaws. It can get a bit loud during the breaks when everyone is out in the yard, but that’s to be expected with a school. We have some older desks and some newer ones, depending on which room you’re in. The walls are covered with some drawings the children made, which adds a bit of color to the place. Hyderabad is a busy city, but Divya Nagar is a bit more settled. We don’t go in for anything too fancy or corporate. It’s just a neighborhood foundation school. We spend our time focusing on the books and making sure the kids stay on track with their lessons. If you walk past the school in the afternoon, you’ll probably hear the sound of lessons being read aloud. We’ve seen many groups of students pass through our doors over the years. Some come back to visit, which is always a nice thing to see. We just keep things running as best as we can.
