Nalanda Public School

Our place is Door No. 12-2-712, located in Nanal Nagar, which is right in the Mehdipatnam area. It’s a very busy part of the city, and our school is right in the middle of all that activity. You can hear the buses and the street vendors from almost any room in the building. It’s an older structure, so it has those high ceilings and some narrow staircases that can be a bit of a squeeze. We don’t have a lot of fancy equipment, just the essential desks, chairs, and boards. Our staff room is a bit cramped because we have so many books and papers piled up on the tables. We’ve been here for quite some time, so the local shopkeepers know us well. Every morning is a bit of a rush to get the gates open and the students inside before the traffic gets too bad. We spend our time checking homework and planning out the next week’s lessons. It’s a practical environment without any of the polish you see in newer schools. The paint is peeling in a few spots, and some of the desks have names carved into them from years ago. We just keep things running as best as we can. It’s a familiar routine for us, and we like being part of the neighborhood. Mehdipatnam is always moving, and we’re just a small, steady part of it.
