Nalanda High School

We've been here in Chatrinaka for a good while now, right in that lane beside the flyover. It gets a bit busy with the traffic nearby, but inside the gates, it's just the usual school day sounds. Nalanda High School isn't fancy. We have the classrooms, the chalkboards, and plenty of desks that have seen better days. Every morning starts with the same rush of kids coming in from the surrounding streets. Some walk, some get dropped off by parents on scooters. We try to keep things organized, though with so many students, it can get loud during the breaks. The building is tucked away a bit, so if you aren't looking for it, you might miss the turn by the flyover. Our teachers are mostly locals who know the families around here. We spend a lot of time just making sure the kids actually sit down and focus on their books. It's not always easy, especially when it's hot outside and everyone wants to be anywhere but at a desk. We handle the usual stuff like exams and sports days. There’s a lot of paperwork that piles up in the office, and the bell rings at the same time every day to let everyone know it’s finally time to go home. We just keep doing what we do, year after year, teaching the basic subjects and making sure the building stays standing. It's a simple setup, really. No big frills or anything, just a school for the neighborhood kids.
