Mount Judi School

Mount Judi School is situated right by the Kandikal Gate, near that new flyover at Lal Darwaza. Being in the Chatrinaka area of Hyderabad, it’s always a bit busy around here. You can hear the city noise, but once you step inside the gates, it settles down a bit. We’ve been operating this school to help out the families in the 500053 zip code. It’s a tall building, fairly easy to spot if you’re coming from the main road. The kids come from all over this neighborhood, some walking and some on bikes. We have a mix of ages here. The hallways can get a little cramped during the breaks, but that’s just how these older Hyderabad buildings are. We focus on the basics. Reading, writing, and making sure the students behave themselves. Our staff members are regular people who live nearby. They don't use big words or act like they are better than anyone. We just want the kids to have a safe place to learn. The playground isn't huge, but the students make do with what they have. Sometimes we have events where the parents come in, and it gets really crowded, but it’s nice to see everyone. It’s a straightforward school for the local community. We don't try to be something we aren't. We just teach the classes and look after the students until it's time to go home.
