Midas High School

Midas High School is tucked right into the middle of the Mozamjahi Market area. If you know the Ahmedi Confectionary, we are just right beside it. You can usually smell the biscuits and sweets baking in the morning when the kids are coming in. It’s quite a busy part of town, especially with Care Hospital being directly opposite us. There are always cars and ambulances moving around, so it’s never really quiet here. The building itself, 52-8-74, has been used for the school for quite some time. It's an older structure with those high ceilings you don't see much anymore. Inside, it’s a bit of a maze with the different levels and the narrow hallways. We spend a lot of time just keeping things organized because of how many people are always passing by outside. The market life definitely spills over into our day. Sometimes we have to close the windows to block out the street noise from the vendors and the shoppers. But being near the hospital means everyone knows the landmark. We don’t really do big advertisements. Most people just see the sign when they are heading to the market or going for a checkup across the street. The staff usually gets tea from the local stall nearby. It’s just a regular high school trying to manage the day-to-day stuff in a very crowded part of the city.
