You can find Meridian School For Boys & Girls Education at 8-2-541 which is right near the Iranian Consulate on Road No 7 in Banjara Hills. Being in such a well-known part of the city means we see a lot of people passing by every day. The building is an older one and it has that specific smell of old paper and floor wax that you only find in schools. We have boys and girls coming in from all different neighborhoods and they all bring their own energy to the place. The hallways can get quite narrow when the classes change and you can hear the sound of hundreds of shoes hitting the floor at once. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or polished marketing. Most of our furniture is simple wood and metal that has been around for years. The teachers here have their own ways of doing things and they don't always agree on everything but they all care about the kids. Lunchtime is always a bit of a scramble and the area near the Iranian Consulate gets very busy with cars and vans. We just try to manage the flow and make sure everyone is where they need to be. It’s a job that keeps us on our feet and there is never a quiet moment until long after the students have gone home for the evening.
