Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Ltd

We’re located over at S2 in the Technocrats Industrial Estate in Balanagar. Being in an industrial estate means it’s always loud with trucks and machinery, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We do a lot of infrastructure work, which basically means we’re involved in the big stuff like water and power. It’s complicated work, but we try to keep it simple when we’re talking about it. Our office is practical, nothing special to look at, just a place to get the planning done and keep the records straight. There’s usually a lot of coming and going with the engineers and the field crews. We don’t go in for big mission statements or anything like that. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay on schedule, which isn’t always easy with the way things go sometimes. The weather can be a real pain, especially when we’re working out in the open. We’ve seen Balanagar change quite a bit since we set up here. It’s gotten a lot more crowded, but that just means more work for us. We have a good group of people who know their business and don't need much managing. We just get our instructions and get to work. It’s a lot of long days and sometimes the weekends get eaten up too, but that’s the life we chose.
