Megamart(A Division Of Arvind Ltd)

We are based in Jeedimetla, Hyderabad. Megamart is technically a division of Arvind Ltd, but if you walked into our place, you wouldn't see any corporate logos or fancy offices. It’s a gritty, industrial area and our building fits right in. It is basically a large hall with high ceilings that trap the heat. We have rows and rows of racks that seem to go on forever. The noise from the nearby factories is constant, and there are always heavy trucks rumbling past our doors. We don't have any carpets or nice furniture. Just metal desks and old chairs that have seen a lot of use. We spend our days checking manifests and moving heavy loads from one side to the other. It is hard work and your clothes usually end up pretty dirty by five o'clock. We drink our tea standing up because there isn't much room to sit down once the shipments start arriving. Jeedimetla isn't a place for tourists; it’s a place where things get done. We don't talk about visions or goals much. We just make sure the inventory is right and that we don't make mistakes with the numbers. It is a plain, functional operation in the middle of a very busy part of Hyderabad. We just keep our heads down and work.
