Mec,Engineering Consultants is based in the Malakpet area of Hyderabad. Malakpet is a very old and busy part of the city, known for its markets and traffic. It is never quiet here. You have the roar of the motorcycles and the buses going by at all hours. Our office is tucked into this neighborhood, which makes it easy for us to stay connected to what is happening in the city. We don't have a fancy glass office in the tech parks like some other companies in Hyderabad. Instead, we are right here in the heart of the action where things are a bit more real and messy. The building is just a standard structure that we have been using for our consulting work. Inside, it is just a bunch of us working on drawings and plans. It gets pretty hot in Hyderabad during the summer months, so we are thankful for the shade. We don't go in for big speeches or polished presentations about ourselves. We just do our jobs as consultants and let the work speak for itself. Being in Malakpet means there are always good places nearby to grab some biryani or tea when we need a break. It is a busy, loud, and honest place to work. We like the fact that we are right in the middle of a regular neighborhood instead of some isolated office complex. It works for us.
