Maji Carry Bags

We are over at 6-5-/5 B in Ram Nagar. Maji Carry Bags is basically just us making and selling bags for people to use. We have different types, mostly for shopping or carrying things around. It started out small and we’ve just stayed in this same spot in Ram Nagar. The workshop area is where all the work happens. You can usually hear the machines running if you walk by. It’s not a very big space, so we have to keep everything stacked neatly or we run out of room to move. We deal with a lot of local shops who need bags for their customers. Sometimes we have to work late to get an order finished if it's a big one. The floor is usually covered in bits of material by the end of the day. We don't really do any advertising. People just know we are here in the neighborhood. Ram Nagar is a good place for a business like this because there are plenty of people around. We try to keep things simple and just focus on making the bags as well as we can. Some days are really hot in the workshop, but we just get through it. It’s physical work, lifting bundles of bags and moving them to the front for pickup. We’ve been doing this for quite a few years now. It’s what we know how to do, so we just keep at it every day and try to keep up.
